I prefer guys with fair coloring so if I had to pick between a 10 with a darker complexion or 8 with a fair complexion I’d go for the 8 because being within my type will add 2 more points just for me.
I know I’ve had points given to me just for being a brunette *boy did I date some blonde haters*
There have also been instances where I dated 3 different guys. All within the same type, build and attractiveness and all three treated me in completely different ways based on their varying levels of interest so you can’t always count on finding someone you think is within your level based on looking like someone you used to date being into you.

I used to think that there was nothing more to life than being attractive! In fact, I only dated men who looked a certain way as well. Then I did some introspective looking around and realized that I wasn’t enjoying how I got treated everytime I was with that type of man. He is the epitomy of rudeness and doesn’t seem to truly care about me as much as he does himself! That is when i decided that though looks do still play a part in my choice, it isn’t the end all of all desire! Actually, I make it a point to go out with men I don’t really consider my type to reanalyze what my “type” really should be. I haven’t met him yet, but since I have opened myself up to other ideas, I am never lonely or bored.
