“I AM INNOCENT.” – DENNIS SYTIN ON DOMINIC SYTIN KILLING
“I am innocent. I did not nor did I have anything to do with the killing of my brother, “ said Dennis Sytin who was tagged by the Philippine National Police as the alleged mastermind in the killing of his older brother Dominic.
PNP chief Oscar Albayalde said the arrested gunman had identified Dennis as the alleged brains behind the murder of Dominic as the two brothers squabbled over control or shares of the company.
“I am being used as a scapegoat while those who are truly responsible for the crime are free and seemingly no longer the subject of investigation — this despite the statement of PNP Chief [Oscar] Albayalde that he still ‘does not consider the case closed,” Dennis said in a statement.

“Therefore, the charge against me that I masterminded his death is a great injustice to me, my wife and children and to my slain brother Dominic and our mother,” he added.
NBI's Lie Detector Test on Dennis Sytin
After answering all their questions, the NBI found Dennis Sytin negative for any participation or involvement in the killing of his brother and even specifically found that he had no specific reaction indicative of deception to questions asked relative to the investigation on the death of his brother Dominic Sytin.
“The overwhelming evidence on record shows that it was Oliver who was the mastermind of Dominic’s murder from whom all instructions to Luib emanated,” the counter-affidavit read.
Dennis mentioned his full cooperation with the investigation on the case, as well as the result of the polygraph test, which showed consistencies on his statements, as proof of his innocence.
“My full cooperation in the investigation and favorable polygraph test results are proof positive that I do not have a guilty conscience and that I am with my whole family in seeking justice for the death of my brother Dominic,” he stated.
